About Nell Benton

Nell was hiking the Himalayan mountains in her early 20s when it became crystal clear that she had no interest in following a conventional path.  Her parents, big travelers themselves, urged her to follow her passions and live large.  Over the next decade, Nell lived and worked in the Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Thailand, England – finally returning home to Wisconsin in 2009.

Ever entrepreneurial, Nell became a chef and in 2010 Nell took over The National Café, which she ran successfully for nearly a decade, as well as opening Bowls Milwaukee.  Eventually (and much to her parents’ delight), Nell got married and had a family. After her years as a chef/restaurant owner, Nell bought and sold properties around Milwaukee and neighboring suburbs, lovingly restoring many of them. Her joy in this work led to her desire to join the real estate world full time and help others find their dream houses, property investment, or next project.

Nell has strong ties to the Milwaukee community, and past endeavors include the group Food For Thought, which raised close to $100k for local Milwaukee charities.  Nell is an active volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters and Habitat For Humanity.
